Livestock
The superior drying performance of the tubes can also be used to take non-invasive DNA samples from livestock. For this purpose forensiX developed a special swab to maximize the amount of collected DNA. The DNA samples can be stored for years or can be analyzed directly with the Illumina® technology or other PCR systems to genotype the animals.
