The Finger Nail Dirt Tube is a kit that contains two tubes with desiccant that ensures complete and rapid drying of the swab after collecting samples. Pre drying or freezing is not needed. It further contains a sterile water ampoule, labels and seals.

All elements of the tube (except desiccant) are EO treated and guaranteed DNA free*.

 

*DNA-free means: Any DNA, that might contaminate the swab or tube during the manufacturing process, is degraded to such small fragments that no human profile can be generated with PCR amplification methods.
