The forensiX tubes contain a desiccant that ensures complete and rapid drying of the swab after collecting samples. Pre drying or freezing is not needed.

All elements of the tube (except desiccant) are EO treated and guaranteed DNA free*.

* DNA-free means: Any DNA, that might contaminate the swab or tube during the manufacturing process, is degraded to such small fragments that no human profile can be generated with PCR amplification methods.
