C.D.S Swab Safe® kit are used in our laboratory both for the collection of biological stains as well as for the collection of saliva samples from persons. They are easy to handle and the yield of DNA is high. They were also used recently for the collection of buccal swabs in the Kaprun cable-car desaster and all the samples gave excellent results.

Setting up our database for missing persons (the spanish phoenix program), we have experienced the products of swissforensix in over 500 cases. We've always got the best results: saliva swabs obtained, stored and transported using the Profile Collector® have always yielded large amounts of high quality DNA, ready to amplify without further problems of degradation or contamination. I can only endorse these products to anyone working in the same field.

Regarding the C.D.S. Swab Safe® products. It's excellent and probably the best there is. We had our kit done with Icelandic text without problems. I am quite satisfied with it and so are my colleagues.

The C.D.S. Swabs are used as important tools by the Forensic Departments in Denmark for the collection of biological material as saliva, blood, semen as well as for obtaining unidentified foreign material on the body. The swabs are recognized by all working in the field as an important tool for the secure collection and preservation of biological material. The swabs have thus proven sucessful as a tool for the collection and identification of saliva and DNA material within the saliva. The C.D.S. Swabs are approved by the National Laboratory for Forensic DNA-analysis for use in the field at crime scenes, at autopsies and in clinical forensic medicine.
