Prionics to deliver evidence collection kits to the French Ministry of the Interior

Prionics has secured a tender for DNA evidence collection kits in France. The tender encompasses the nationwide delivery of forensiX tubes to the Gendarmerie Nationale and the Police Nationale for the collection of evidence at crime scenes in France.
Prionics has won this tender together with AES our distributor in France. The French Ministry of the Interior has chosen the forensiX tubes with their patented rapid drying system and with the integrated nylon FLOQSwabs™ of COPAN FLOCK TECHNOLGIES S.r.l., as the best product.
The winning product consists of the forensiX tube, an envelope, sterile water and a seal.
The forensiX tube with the nylon FLOQSwab™ is now available under the product number 9022006.
New Product: Paternity Box

Prionics launches a new product for the sample taking for DNA parentage testing. The new Paternity Box contains 6 self-drying tubes, seals and DNA-free gloves in a cardboard box. The cardboard box is slim enough to be sent by letter mail.
Languages combined

The English version of the evidence collection kit and of the buccal swab kit (both cardboard) will contain the instructions also in Spanish and Slovenian language for the buccal swab kit, respectively in Spanish, Slovenian and Icelandic for the evidence collection kit in the future.
This will enable us to have those languages on stock and to be able send them out faster. The recent language versions will be sold out and then replaced by the new English versions.

Announcement: New version of self-drying tube

Prionics has completed the development of the new self-drying forensiX tube. The new tubes hold an inlay made of a patented plastic containing a molecular sieve that serves as drying material. The tubes with the new inlay offer the same benefits as the original product. Additionally the new inlay prevents the formation of dust particles in the tubes.
The new inlay will be implemented in all tubes in the coming months. The tubes will be gradually replaced in the various forensiX products. As the tubes are a component of a variety of forensiX products, the replacement will occur over a period of a few months.
